KCC Fitness Challenge 2022

In light of the season pause, we have devised the following fitness challenge to encourage teams and individuals to stay active, maintain fitness levels and have a bit of friendly competition to the mix.

Start Date; January 22nd 2022.

End Date: February 22nd 2022.

The challenge is to log as many kilometers (km) through planned hiking, walking or running activities.

Simply log your distance (km) by submitting the google form (this can be found in your teams whatsapp description box).

  • Team challenge: The KCC team which accumulates the most distance will receive a keg of beer at our next social function.

  • Individual Challenge: The individual who accumulates the most distance will receive a donation to a charity of their choice and an additional award at the end of season presentations. * the winning individual must be able to prove their distances through evidence on a fitness tracker (i.e. Strava, Garmin, Apple watch etc) at the end of the month.

  • Section Challenge: To improve on last years section total of 5888km.

Rules:

(1) Complete a run/ hike (walk).

(2) Log your activity on the google form here (the form link can also be found on your whatsapp team description).

(3) Only 1 activity per person can be logged each day and must be logged on the same day as the activity.

Added extra: post a photo/ map of your run to your whatsapp group to encourage others to get involved.
